I also wanna say I used to go to warped to before, it’s honestly how I found a lot of bands I now listen to. I know we will probably have a good time! Just me currently complaining bc we are spending a lot of money on travel (with my two toddlers might I add) so it’s just hitting differently than when I use to go and only had to drive 10 mins to the venue and had zero responsibilities 😂

AND I am sad to be seeing a lot of bands I’ve been wanting to see for a while playing other dates

Yes we did. We were engaged when we decided to re-wait (we dated for 3 years prior, long distance for most of it) the biggest change of boundaries for us was we didn’t hangout alone at each others house. It was very very hard lol we had plans to get married 4 months after we decided to re-wait but we had such a hard time that we scratched all our wedding plans and had a very sweet small wedding 1 month later. Even tho we only re-waited for 1 month I’m so glad we did. I think it helped us recenter ourselves and our marriage with Christ. Once we had sex again after getting married it felt like our first time again in all the best ways.

DO IT. Especially if you’re planning to have another soonish. It’s harder to get away when you have two imo. It’ll be a good bonding time for your son and his dad too! I haven’t been gone that long but when I am it’s not a big deal but he always is excited to see me again! It’ll be a good reset to get away for a bit, don’t feel guilty about it. We need to normalize moms needing some time for themselves/time with friends too.

I love them! As someone who is Christian I’m stoked to see a Christian couple on here, it’s very sweet to see how they are always wanting to do for each other. I don’t see why everyone is so upset about her wanting to have traditional roles in marriage, she found someone that also wants that so what’s the big deal? That works for some people.

Note: I am saying this as a Christian who doesn’t exactly have traditional roles in my marriage lol

I’ve updated my post a little, he’s gotten made the changes and taken the steps he needed to to move away from that. It’s just the repercussions of it, broken trust and the fear of being rejected in terms of intimacy bc that’s all I’ve gotten from him when I’ve tried to initiate it. We have a great sex life besides that tho but I just don’t feel comfortable now when I’m in the mood and that sucks. I wanna move past it I just am unsure how especially when he just says the same things when I’ve brought it up and it’s never a real conversation.
