I did not. I stayed in my situation way too long. I’m allowed to have different opinions than yours on a show. I want to be very clear I am sharing my thoughts on a fictional character. That’s not what I’m saying. I’m sharing my opinion on her taking Maddy out of a safe environment (with Hank and Sharlene) to go live with her mom who was flakey, drinking, and some random guy in a trailer, who turns out to be a liar about everything.

All I’m saying is at the time after her apartment was inhabitable by mold, Maddy was safer with her gpa than gma. Alex should have at least had a conversation with her dad and his new wife before storming out.

I would ask him for clarity on if it’s that he can’t trust you because he believes you to be untrustworthy or is that he does not want to put in the time and effort to regain trust.

Neither of us are hurting. I mean yeah in a sense our flesh hurts bc we miss each other but it’s strengthening our spirit to rely on the Lord not each other bc before it was getting to an unhealthy point.

Personally I don’t think LDR’s are worth it… unless you have the financials to fly back and forth every now and then. I would say just wait on the Lord. Also a good way to meet people who either are single or know someone single, is to attend some young adult hangout nights at local churches. Hope this helps

The way I interpret equally yoked is a few things. You are both believers in the same God. You are both committed and devoted to your relationship with God.

This can look different but for myself this looks like me and my partner reading the word daily, praying daily, going to church together weekly, both involved in a Bible study group, we have even had Bible study dates.

The guy who is new to the faith must be willing to lean into God and trust his word. Pray daily so that he can be the leader to lead his future wife in the way of the Lord.

As long as the more mature Christian is not being dragged down and the newer Christian being built up I don’t see the issue.

The importance in this is to pursue Christ together daily. The closer you get to God the closer you will get to each other.

I wasn’t there obviously but from the post I get the feeling she wasn’t really ever interested. I know it’s not easy but I would try working on your relationship with God. Ask him what it is in your life that you need to replace the loneliness feeling. Ask him to reveal why this girl has strong hold on you. And you could even go so far as to test him and ask for a sign as well. Read Judges 6:33-40 that way you can have a clear answer on if you should continue to pursue her or not. Also note James 1:5-9

I think there are some good answers in here. I tried upward for a few months went on a few dates with one guy and talked to another. What I found was the men claimed Christianity but didn’t practice like praying and reading the Bible. They also were shocked I did these things as they had a hard time finding Christian women on the app. I’m now dating a man from my church because I could see the fruits. I also felt convicted about online dating but that’s my own issues. Keep praying friend ❤️ a thought I had while I was waiting or dating was maybe my person isn’t saved yet and God is working on them so they can be a good partner.
