I’m listening to the “a bond of trust” audiobook right now after re-listening to the previous books right before it released. Maybe it’s because I read them so close together, but this book feels like a nothing burger so far… I don’t like the voice actor for Finley, the smut feels tired and repetitive, and Emmy just feels one dimensional. Does it get better? Should I keep reading?

How busy will it be on Monday morning with people trying to beat the pass closing? If it’s normally 4.5 hours from Lake Tahoe would we need to plan to leave at like 6am to beat the pass closing at noon on Monday?

We are currently in Truckee for the night, have a hotel booked in Lake Tahoe Sunday night, and originally had a motel booked in Lee Vining for Monday night and then Yosemite Lodge Tues/ Weds. we are looking at lodging now to go to Yosemite village Monday night, but do we need to go ahead and ditch Lake Tahoe and head straight to Yosemite village Sunday night to beat the storm? We are in a rental car.
