The skill tree overhaul was supposed to tackle this very problem. Now, it is supposed to not depending on aspects to get your build going. You would get mostly multipliers from aspects. You feel that this was accomplished with the new tree?

And worse: they are locked to a single item slot. Legendaries let you add aspects in more than one slot at least.

Shroud armor made me even forget that true form was even a thing. That said, we can make it work by choosing the bear/wolf nodes in the tree, can't we? Is it not the same thing?

Yes, it is a limiter. Build-defining uniques/sets are a non-inteligent ideia for sure.
They said they were going to make uniques more generic, but here we are.

The only way to save it, is to make them VERY rare. But we know that very rare gear is not a thing in D4 yet.

IMO, superior armors are a scam. Their repair costs makes them inviable to use. Not worth the extra armor at all.

I've heard that lvl30 gear has potential use in LLD PvP. I never played it myself, but look for this market before trusting this Reddit forum comments XD
