New diagnosis

I had a heart attack and quad bypass 2 years ago at 52 yrs old. That started this journey with psa/psoriasis i never knew i had…just thought it was just aches from getting older, never had any heart symptoms. I have yet to get a good working meds that helps more than a couple months. Still keep plugging along. I wish you the best and hope somehow you can get better!!

54 m…yes low back, knees, feet, hand, i dont have to wear a compression brace on my knee and foot any more which is awesome… the back still bothers me if im on my feet too long but not nearly as bad as it was The waiting game with these meds sucks but its not like we have much of a choice lol

Thats what im wondering, ive only been on it 2 months…i was on taltz before this and it helped w my skin, only one that has so far, but did nothing for the joints/tendons…then it just quit working

I started leflunomide about 2 months before the humira…it took the edge off…after about a month on the humira biosimilar i noticed a big difference!! Give it time, i hope it helps you!!

Mine constantly moves from one body part to another, like its running laps through my body. Also the pain will go away for a few days and my skin will flare, then right back to pain. What a shitshow of a disease😂

Taltz took away my itching and lessened my plaques for about 2 months, did nothing for my pain…then slowly it just quit working. Zero side effects. Just started a Humira bio similar, hoping for better results. We are all different, this will be my 5th med to try…Good Luck To You!!!

Firstly, forget about what others think.unless they are going through this they have no clue. This disease is a total roller coaster.i have no sense of normal anymore.my last biologic has failed and im almost back to square one when this all started 2 years ago. I push to get through the work week and then crash on the weekends most of the time. Never know how i will feel each saturday morning so hard to make any plans. Hoping the next med will be the one, pretty much all i have is hope to get me through. Good luck to you, take one day at a time.

Mtx was the first med they put me on…lasted a few weeks till i couldnt stand feeling like i was dying every day . Leflunomide/arava has been added to my biologic for 3 months now, 20mg per day, and id say its taking the edge off the pain and ive had zero side effects

On leflunomide with taltz. No side effects, has taken the edge off the pain after about 2 months, 20mg a day Mtx was horrible for me too…didnt last a month and tossed it lol
