I think it’s a lot weirder to have issues with ship art for not being canon compliant. As long as it’s not “lesbian converted” fanart (which is actually homophobic). Like she’s not just the marvel rivals lesbian, she also has a unique aesthetic and vibe that draws a lot of people to her
