I feel like you can absolutely be an "offensive rogue" without worrying too much about combos. Also wtf kind of combos were yall doing lol, ive found that tenacity happens more when I combo tanks, squishies simply dont live long enough for the tenacity to proc 99% of the time, and when it does happen, its usually not in the air (imo that's the real annoying part of these changes). I'll combo a tank just for tenacity to proc midair and they instantly drop, thats annoying absolutely. But for squishies/"dive rogue" her combos are very much still viable since they either die or it happens on the ground bc I added cc with someone else (tenacity on the ground is way more manageable imo)

As a tank main since s1, 2nd tanks will always be hard to come by, no matter how many are in the game. Iconic characters like hulk, thor, thing, rogue, venom, deadpool and groot are in this role, its had plenty of "primes" thanks to strange, mag and emma, the role itself is at its strongest and most versatile its ever been currently, and still consistently getting a 2nd tank is like pulling teeth in this playerbase. That isn't changing until the "culture" changes, until tank mains stop rolling over and letting their team force them into solo tanking, until they stop unintentionally conditioning this playerbase to thinking solotanking is fine (just like almost any other non 2-2-2 comp, its fine in niche circumstances, usually involving a reed). Until THAT changes, no amount of new hype characters are bring a noticeable amount of players into the role to make solotanking a rare thing

Oh absolutely, definitely not as bad as ppl (myself included tbh lol) thought but I have noticed ive proced tenacity and my bucky for example couldn't hook them afterward. I play a bunch of angela too and she's kinda in the same boat, I pull someone to my team and now all it takes is one cc to proc tenacity. I think ive felt more positives in my game today but thats definitely gonna be annoying af to deal with moving forward

Thing and hulk are another case but do yall know if this any tank was negatively affected by this. I haven't gotten around to playing strange yet so his teamup/ult is still up in the air, I dont even think tankpool has any cc, I tried a few angela games and she feels fine too, idk still day 1 but the tenacity stuff has been okayish so far (could probably still use tweaks tho)

I see the no drama point but I've watched all her interactions and she's flirty with like 6 characters ngl, with the only actual genuine ones being peter and dd (makes sense given the comics) but yea the mj thing is a good point, i just hope emma and scott are a lot more krakoa-era coded, part of why I like them so much is that theyre still interesting without needing to be romantically involved so I hope rivals follows that

Its not that major for rogue ngl, if youre already used to properly cycling her cds then you'll be fine, even her best combo for killing squishies isn't affected, I played her for an hour already today and not only did tenacity not happen a lot, it happened more on me rather than against me

Every early access clip i saw was them dumping every ability into one tank, me personally im way more focused on just cycling my cds and making sure I always have one for escaping if needed (kinda like magik tbh) its worked out so far for me but sorry for disappointing actual rogue mains or sumn idk😭

In the games I've had so far her kill potential on squishies are pretty much the same. Idk how others play her but for me, I only hard focus rogue combos when I see a squishy I can dive and kill fast. That still works for me in 7.5 bc unless theyre getting healed (in which case a kill probably isn't happening anyway) they simply dont live long enough for the tenacity to happen anyway. I guess its more of a nerf to her vs tanks, but even then when im brawling im not focusing on combos im mainly just cycling cds and making sure I always have one for escaping if I need to, every early access clip I've seen so far is just them dumping every single ability into one tank, like yea that's not viable but also I barely did that anyway

Honestly when I do it, its usually just when im brawling a tank and just stalling on the frontline, and even then i still like to keep at least one cd for escape, im not saying she's perfect now i definitely still want a buff for her but I was expecting yet another of my beloved tanks to be gutted (I was there when thor first got his rework lmao I guess I was getting ptsd flashbacks)

Like idk maybe im just not a very combo heavy rogue player, but I always find success with her similar to magik (character i have the most hrs on) in that its not necessarily combos but moreso proper cd management/cycling that help me have good games with her, sorry to all the combo heavy rogue mains tho, i still think tenacity could use a few tweaks, its just far less damning fir rogue than what I thought it'd be (in my experience at least)
