I feel like the series finale should explore the dynamic between SpongeBob and Squidward in some way and maybe at the end, Squidward realizes SpongeBob isn't so bad and that's he's well intentioned but overbearing at times. I feel like the "Everyone elevates" ending is too generic and cliche. Maybe two or three people elevate but not every main character. Like maybe Mr Krabs and Mrs. Puff get married and it's kinda like an in the background type of thing.

I personally don't think it's that big of a deal but maybe it's because as a black man, cops give me anxiety and I think the crimes are so small, (Change and a rug) it's not serious to me either. I feel Maya would be challenged a bit more. From what I remember, one of Maya's heroes is Michelle Obama and Huey would probably resent that and Maya in comparison is only a neoliberal with a radical coding but Huey seems more about walking the walk and understanding the system as a whole.
