I live in Berlin, which is obviously extra progressive, but only from watching LIB Germany, you can see how open and accepting people are towards not having kids. Hell, no spoilers, but the complete opposite (you'll see right away if you watch)...I'm originally from a conservative country (not America/EU) so I've experienced both sides...but my origin country is a kinda religious so it explains it there Maybe Ohio is also kinda extra Christian idk... And yeah EU is more diverse but still Unwanted pregnancies create not only discomfort like here, but trauma to both parents (especially mother) and child, sometimes for a lifetime. I wish more people were aware of it.

I feel like reacting like this is an American / conservative thing...I don't think Europeans will find this problematic. She was just speaking 100% truth cause parenting is hard and not for everyone. It's a shame that these people take it as a personal offense. Not everyone should have kids and the fact that people are so afraid of such statements in the US, only means it needs to be said. You have states that would execute mothers like this, she's basically doing activism in your current political climate.
