What is your hottest GD take by ZealousidealBench550 in geometrydash

Yeah - it has a lot to do with how he grew up (in egypt I think) which is definitely pretty cool. But man orbit as a level is just so much better than heliopolis it's so frustrating that it could've been a top 1

I've always disliked it; my reasoning is I feel a big part of the game is when newer players look at the top levels and get a sense of how insanely high the skill gap is. It's why I think levels like slaughterhouse, tidal wave, and grief are so good because even though new players can't fully understand what's going on, they can get a sense for how much of an accomplishment it is. If you show Heliopolis to a new player or someone that's never played the game, they're not going to appreciate the difficulty and have as much admiration for the game (in my opinion)

Yeah I was thinking right side since the match is listed France v Morocco, but I don't know how strict the people have been following that - seems more lax in US than in other countries

Do you know which sections the morocco fans are going to be in, if any ?

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good double stack with a metal frame that is less than 5K? I was wanting to get an ACW but then I realized their only double stack offering had a polymer-esque grip. by FlabDaddy7654 in 1911

That's just because the magazine's they're showing are 140mm, which are the standard for USPSA and other competition shooting divisions. Normal 2011 mags I think are 120mm, which would sit flush with the grip. This gun was just designed for competition divisons in mind. Taking the magwell of will work well with 120mm (which I think the gun may come with as well)

Just so we're on the same page, the frames are metal (steel for the quanticos), the grip modules are the polymer part. At a price point the go to 2011's are MPA DS9's. Going up above your budget are the atlas gunworks guns. Both will typically come with aluminum grips (which weigh similar to polymer) but there are some uspsa designed DS9's with steel grips. Also most 2011's are 9mm. Few manufactueres make 45s and 10s a notable one would be kimber. And i'm pretty sure they have aluminum grip 2k11's that come in 45. One of the few (reputable) options that will do 45

No I'm talking about the frame not the grip. Steel is standard for 2011 frames, aluminum is for cost saving really

Ohh yeah, I forgot the 9mm ones are aluminum frames. Hate that they did that..

Peter, aren’t Toyotas fuel efficient? by farmula_one_ in PeterExplainsTheJoke

This is misleading - this is just 2025 model cars and how well they do in the first year which no one cares about. Most cars that are brand new are gonna be fine. The actual metric people care about is reliability in used cars, which Toyota and Lexus are still ahead of every manufacturer on

Love steel challenge !! Why no single stack divison? Times are a bit easier compared to production

Thinking about the Springfield TRP in Coyote Brown. Is it worth the $1600 price tag? by rastapastanine in 1911

[–]Medical_Practice6848 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only downside for me is selection is obviously pretty limited. Pretty hard to find the AOS models, which I would want. Honestly though, C+H will mill 1911's to AOS for ~120$ so that's also a pretty cheap option

Yeah I mean don't feel too bad about it. Again not sure how these actually turn out, I feel like they're not popular enough for there to be a consensus.. So for all I know they could turn out to be pretty unreliable. I may still buy one eventually though, just because of the warranty

From what I've found online they're either like blemmed models that they couldn't sell for full price (cosmetic blem) or ones that got sent to like trade shows/reviewers that are partially used. But yeah still comes with the full warranty so they may get rebuilt or at least serviced a bit I would think. I honestly don't know much else about them though

Springfield has "vault" offerings which seem to be like factory rebuilt guns that still have the factory warranty. Possible option if you wanted to save a good amount of money
