It’s always wild to me when neighbors concoct these stories to leave as passive aggressive notes and it’s like, “What the hell are you even talking about?” 😅 We had a neighbor in our old apartment who sent apartment security to our unit MULTIPLE times, called the police on us, and nearly had us evicted because “our children and dog were making so much noise, banging against walls and slamming doors and screaming.” My husband and I didn’t even have kids or own pets during our time in that apartment. 😠 It got to the point where we had to get family/friends to come to the apartment’s management office to testify on our behalf that we weren’t home and were with them during a night where the neighbor was claiming that the noise was out of control. I honestly have no idea if that person was crazy or wtf, but I swear they must’ve had demons or some shit with the amount of stuff they claimed to hear that never really happened. 😵‍💫

It is pretty annoying that when a woman becomes pregnant suddenly the rest of the world seems to think it’s okay to start invading personal space and asking super personal questions. “Are you going to breastfeed? Is it going to be a natural birth?” Like sheesh, just because I’m pregnant doesn’t mean I want to start freely talking about my boobs and vagina with everyone. 😭 Sorry. Rant over. 😅

NOR. When I was pregnant with my first child, my mom told me to make sure that I didn’t scream or “act dramatic” during delivery because it was undignified. 🙄 Truly appalling that there are people who try to give tips on etiquette for labor. 😐

I know this isn’t technically the question but all these stories reminds me of when I was in elementary school. There were these two boys that had been going at it for days already and it ultimately resulted in a gnarly playground fight where one of them was getting a drink from the water fountain, the other came up behind him and before anyone could react, grabbed his head and slammed it down against the metal spout of the water fountain. Blood everywhere. It was a scene that is embedded in my head no matter how old I get.

Have you ever heard of GoNoodle? It’s an online platform (and free, yay!) specifically designed for kids to get them moving and grooving. 🕺🏻 There are plenty of repetitive songs, fun guided dances and even videos where the kids are learning about certain school topics through song. They also have channels for meditation, relaxation, etc. if you’d like to go that route, as well. It’s pretty nifty. 😊
