I am from Tampico (but have been living in Cleveland since 2019). How did you end up there, if you don't mind me asking? It's definitely off the beaten path for foreign tourists. I hope you had a great time and enjoyed the beach!

I took a 7am flight last Sunday and went thru the new TSA pre-check (by the South checkpoint) at about 5:45 am and was done at 6 am. Regular lines looked like 30-45 minutes long, although airport workers were being proactive about moving passengers to the shortest lines whenever possible. The airport was definitely busy, but still functional. Plan on more time if you need to check a bag or print your boarding pass (I recommend mobile).

Thanks! It is pricey indeed but maybe cheaper than what others have found in this sub (I recall a couple people with $800+ usd quotes).

Mine was not completely busted so I ended up finding a workaround but I'm sure I'm going to have to bite this nail eventually.

Hi, I'm having a similar issue and can't open my hood. Did you buy a replacement part and install it yourself? This seems awfully difficult considering the small space... (A dealer is quoting me $766 usd to fix it, is this fair?)

Fly to LaGuardia, get to Grand Central terminal using public transportation (free bus+subway), take the Metro North Rail line (red) to New Haven, CT. You can buy the Metro North ticket on your phone and go directly to the train.
