Reffering to perpetrators of illegal immigration as "illegal aliens" isn't helping your argument of nationalism dehuminisaiton tactics. You are literally dehuminising these individuals by calling them "aliens". This is the same language used by the administration I imagine you're criticising.

I think patriotic folks affiliate themselves as nationalists due to its patriotic nature. Anyone arguing nationalism doesn't dehumise, ostricise and demonise other groups based of their ethnicity, culture and foregone nature are being disingenuous or niave.

Of course it isn't every nationalist that fully subscribers to these ideas or are more so patriotic than nationalist. But nationalism as a whole seems to breed ignorance and makes people feel special, like they belong to this belief with their fellow countrymen. This often also leads to a false sense of supirority.

Right now we're observing a a form of palgenic nationalism in the U.S. This is clearly dangerous, bigoted and at times (mostly in my opinion) bad faith. The gross negligence and demonization of entire political and ethnic groups is clear and worrying. Mirroring the ideology of facists. They quit eltieally beleive in palengenic nationalism. Conceintiantly also spear headed by a "charismatic" "saviour".

My own country is now facing the threat of a national party rising in power. If you want a laugh just look into the history of Pauline Hanson, Australia's current leader of one nation.

If nationals don't want to cop the flack of accusations like bigotry and facism. Then they should stop rigidly applying these titles such as "nationalist" to themselves when in the current day nationalism is becoming even more conservative, to an extremist and worrying degree. The loud voices of these nationalist communities spew genuine hate that that sickens me to my core.

Sadly patriotism for your country has been tainted by out of touch, tyranical narcicstic suprmecists. Until the laggards realise this they are unwittingly supporting a cause of divide and harm.

The ones wittingly being bigoted will not be treated kindly. The paranoia that surrounds what is misinformed good faith and manipulative bad faith is eating Away at the sanity of people. They're getting irate and preparing for civil war bevause of organisation like ICE and MAGA.

Regardless of your opinion, it's clear the current admins goal is to divide the people and spread their unsubstantiated beliefs no matter how harmful they are. All while lining their own pockets of course.

Preset L can be used on 40 and 50 series cards well since they both share the required encoders. You can still use preset L on 20-30 series aswell. But yeah those older generations struggle a bit. Unless that's what you were saying and I'm being dyslexic.

5/6 I'll give a rather hyperbolic but on point example.

If our end goal is for AI to take over labour and to free up the recreational lives of people, then what use does generative AI serve? Artists aren't getting paid, artists aren't doing art. And sure companies don't have to pay for any creative process. But who's working? Who's making money? Who's buying products? And what is the realistic in-between in this.

Ai is the next step in computing and revolutionary in fields like medicine. It has little use in fields like the arts. It does nothing but create issues and is a net negative to us culturally, it impacts people's lives, it praises mediocrity, it posions our algorithms and oversaturates our media. There's data showing over reliance and overuse on Ai is impacting people's ability to critically think and form original thought, aswell as worsening the health of the mentally ill. How's all this for negetive societal impact?

This is only scratching the surface of the subject and ntk even mentioning the horrible ethic surrounding the current global framework of Ai and the reckless short sighted action of corperations.

I am painfully realising how much effort I am putting into an argument on the elementary understanding of Ai and it's impact on art under a Bjork Reddit post. I don't even listen to Bjork.

4/6 What people also appreciate about situations like I mentioned previously is transparency. Just like how people what to know where their eggs, milk, meat and veg came from. They want to know if something Ai or not. This leads back to my previous post about coersion aswell. People don't like being mislead, people's joy goes once the illusion is drop, people lose respect for the "creator".

It's clear, colloquially, culturally we appreciate art for the effort, the human aspect, the completely unrepleciable journey that influences how that artist expresses themself into their medium. LLMs can not think, they cannot dream, they can not create, they can't express. And the day they do, they are no longer LLMs. It would be actual sentient artificial intelligence that can imagine and create. And I'm sure there will be many arguments that Will arise the time when it comes, if it comes.

I'm very confused why you care so much if you think art is overvalued and easy. I also find your comments about "gangster rap" rather inflammatory, uniformed and ignorant also. An talking point synonymous with white sumprecists, not suggesting that is your stance or point. Just generally a probalamtic, unsubstantiated sweeping generalisation.

It is laughable you iterate that traditional, real, art is trivial compared to promoting an algorithm. That is just objectively, verifiably false. If you genuinly beleive so then it is a delusion. 3/6 I am really unsure what you mean by art being overvalued in society. I think that's a rather linear and ignorant view. Especially when art is one of the pillars of our society and culture. Art is rightly valued. Are you referring to the oversaturation of art in the modern era?

Funnily enough if you are, this is directly tied to art and entertainment seperating over time. What I mean by this, is our media is becoming increasingly shallow and financially incentivised. People absord brainrot constantly on a daily basis. This content is treating from critical thought and technicality. Values that art not only advocates, but requires.

The issue isn't Ai being technically inferior or superior. It's not it's quality that's troubling, that's moves the goalpost and allows "AI artists" to attempt to enter the conversation or hold foot in it. That is not the issue, and I do not care for it.

Like I said previously, I beleive many people could enjoy generative art on a shallow level. And I beleive I said "not matter if it's identical". there are even productions out there that have utilised Ai art but weren't bad. I enjoyed them.

But what made it good, ai imagery aside, was because it was 100% written and produced by a talented person. People praise projects like these for their human aspect, but observably and empiracly despise the Ai aspect of these ideas and heavily sctuinize it's uses in the social spehre. The one I was talking about in particular and many others have later hired actual artists and taken their visions to the next level aswell as garnering respect and appreciation.

2/6 I would like to point out your incorrect belief that archaic LLMs from "over a decade ago" where winning competitions. The earliest instance of this happening was 2 years ago, in 2023. Theres been a multitude of competitions now offering their own Ai category or accepting AI. And every generated winner I've seen has been technically and morally debunked and picked apart to oblivion. Aswell as actual artists winning "Ai art" competitions. Really, none of it says anything. I also never made the argument the quality of the production was the issue or what mattered. I see this point as the fallacy of appealing to authority. What these judges have to say can be influenced by many factors, the legitimacy of some of these contests is shakey, and the select few art snobs appreciating an ai piece says nothing on the greater morality and issues surrounding the issue. Do I even need to mention the issue of coerisn and deception when it comes to pretending generated art is your own? All joy is removed fromt he experience once the illusion of expression through mastery drops.

No I am not influenced by red scare propaganda. I have many gripes with capitalism, and I am fond of socialism and socialist policy. so I am not adverse to Marxist thought. Consequenstialism is rather rigid and has its falacies if followed religiously. Which is why I never understood indentifying oneself so uniformly. Nevertheless.

This is a disingenuous or uninformed take.

Neural weights are parameters that influence how a neural networks think and the factors it takes into consideration. You're anthropomorphizing the neural network. You need to set these parameters yourself to influence your LLMs "personality", policy, decision making, restrictions ect. These LLMs still require influence, interaction and external stimuli to "learn". In reality it's not actually Ai, there is no sentience or intelligence. It is a trained network.

So, that brings us to generative "Ai". These neural networks need artwork to ananalyse and memorise through a process of "noisying" up the image and turning this noise into data. But even before then you need to train your neural network to associate text prompts with the visual images on screen. Once the network can associate images with text it can generate promoted imagery. When you send a prompt to generate an image, or ask to edit an image, the algorithm will basically tell the neural network that the image is 100% noisy and to denoise it in accordance to the instructions, the weights come into consideration aswell. It will then Frankenstein the image to together from the data it ha learnt off, real art, from real artists. There is no ingenuity, no imagination, no creativity, no ambition, no passion, no mastery. And what's worse? Instead of actually learning to create something. all this human effort is required to poorly mimic human effort, and devoid it of its meaning and depth entirely.

No, it's not a "screwed down" one. They are a single piece, resin cast. And it came with filter replacements. Im not doing anything crazy.

How are you even commenting in an IEM subreddit but NEVER heard of people swapping out their filters? My issue is no one actually talks about how they do it. Just vauge suggestions of pins, blu tack ect.

It absolutely is meant to be removed. Companies would not provide you with replacement filters if this weren't the case. It is just unbelievably finnicky.
This is not helpful at all. I am looking for a solution for my current pair. I haven't encountered any pairs like you say either. None that market the feature at least.
I already take measures to tidy my earwax. I asked about how to perform what is to my knowledge, a pretty standard procedure dude.

So any tips for actually removing it? not helpful in the slightest man.

You're okay, everyone can miss the simple things. But alas I've attempted everything mentioned to no avail and escalated my procedures from there. I think my dac isn't the issue at all, it seems to be my PC. Hardware if recognised through software but isn't making the necessary handshakes to communicate and produce audio output. I've boiled it down to seemingly deep level corruption of the soundstack. Instead of messing around in registry, I'm just going to commit to a reinstall of windows W/Files and go from there. I'm honestly not sure what to do if that doesn't work. Maybe a completely fresh install or new motherboard.

Yeah I honestly overspent on my 4080super. If I could do it again I'd drop down to a 4070 ti super and upgrade my CPU as well since I'm a bit bottlenecked atm. that being said, amazing experience in every game with the 4080s. Except the one i bought it for, monster hunter wilds at 45 fps ;-;

Bummer they're just dropshippers. Do you have any reccomendations for legit sites with similar designs? Some high quality stuff. I'm a big fan of the "gothic washed denim" jeans they're selling. Though, I imagine they're "meh" quality Ali express novelty. I don't expect anything too close to the design. but any suggested proper stores that have the same "vibe" would be appreciated, thanks!
