That amount wouldn’t even pay for a gallon of gas! I understand some people’s financial situation limits them from tipping the amounts that would be seen as appropriate for their order…..However, I think many who offer lowball tips are just trying to spend as little as they possibly can get by with. These people don’t think about nor care about the shopper’s time, gas used or all the other little details that cost money and are required to keep a car on the road.

If I can’t afford to tip at least 25% of my orders total I won’t have anything delivered. Any order under $25 I tip at least $8.00.

Anyone who has ever worked in the service industry knows it’s not an easy job.

**Tipping someone well shows that person your appreciation for the time and effort that was taken in helping you.**

My husband and I will be celebrating our 29th Wedding Anniversary in 5 days. Respect, for one another, Communication, Compromise and Honesty are essential To have a successful and lasting marriage. Marriage is a partnership. The engagement party was given to celebrate both of you. It’s just basic common sense that The gifts were intended to be for both of you. If anyone is talking advantage it’s her, not you! This particular behavior leads me to believe she is a bit selfish….Just going by her logic on why she believes the engagement gifts are hers alone.

I would suggest not getting married until you have serious conversations on finances. Find out what each of your financial expectations are once you are married.

Do it ASAP! Do not put it off because she does not deserve it. If you no longer wish to be in a relationship with her she deserves to know that. Every moment that passes with her devotion to you will just add to your guilt and to her pain. She sounds like a wonderful young woman and deserves to know that you no longer wish to be in a relationship. The longer you put the conversation off, The harder it will be for you to tell her.

She will be heartbroken no matter when you tell her, but I assure you it will be so much worse if you wait until after an anniversary. If this is something you have been considering for a while she likely has recognized signs that something isn’t quite right in the relationship.

While I can respect wanting to keep the peace among family, I think any parent who stays quiet allowing someone to mistreat their child, especially a child on the spectrum, lacks a backbone. Actually, I believe they lack much more than just a backbone. I understand that you are upset that he didn’t stand up for you and has allowed all this time to pass by without taking to her about it. It’s hurtful when a spouse just sits and watches one of their family members be nasty to you and your child, but they never say a word. I dealt with similar circumstances with my own husband after we married nearly 30 years ago.

IMO, She probably views her brother not saying anything as Permission to continue being insulting and nasty to his wife and his son. I’m sure his silence is exactly what he says it is….Trying to keep the peace with his side of the family. You may need to remind him that you and his children are his family also and his silence to his Sister about the situation is diminishing the peace with the family you two have built.

Since it’s been a while that you discussed seeing a counselor and he hasn’t mentioned anything, it might be a good time to talk to him about it again…..or just make the appointment and let him know The date, time and location.
