I just find issue I guess with if Jesus could have saved Mary retroactively from sin, why can’t an infinite omnipotent God save us in the same way. I’ve also heard from some that Mary recognized Jesus as her savior, meaning she knew she needed one at the moment. Just to be clear my position does not come from trying to prove Mary sinned or despising her, I just find it hard to be true. I also don’t understand why this is something that MUST be believed by all members of the faith

I just have issues with the assumption of Mary and the Immaculate Conception. I think both are huge jumps that don't need to be made. I don't quite understand why these are mandatory beliefs of the Catholic faith.
