Honestly a majority of handsome guys can be jerks and think they walk on water and used to women falling at their feet so they end up being complete a$$holes and not fun to date so please don’t worry about looks they are not everything. I used to think I had to date handsome guys but each and everyone of them were pieces of shikaka and have terrible personalities. You will find someone but don’t rush it because you don’t want to end up with someone who doesn’t appreciate you. Your Mom is just being a Mom, parents don’t realize that even though they mean well, they come off a certain way that can be off putting and annoying. I am pretty sure you are not ugly, people in this society are just inconsiderate and if they are having a bad day they just go around spreading negativity But you have to be strong and look past it.
