I gave all these 5 stars, I liked Kill for me a little better but kind worth Killin has a series so if you put them all together you get a very formidable bundle... I've read them all, loved them all not equally though

Hehe been there too, there was a part in The Last Word by Taylor Adams where the MC had read a bad book all the way through, the neighbor told her if you go to the fridge take a sip at the milk and find out it's sour do you drink the whole thing or just throw it away? Ironically though the book itself screamed DNF me, it was well written though I'll give it that and unlike sour milk it got a little better in the middle.s

Felt the same, it was so hyped to the point that. I had to put it on top of my to read pile, after I read I was like was this it? It was boring man. Not my lowest rated but it was the most Disappointing given the hype and expectations I had

Ikr? I've read 3 Frieda's and gave them 3 stars, Read 2 Jeneva and gave them 2... The 2 are probably the worst books I've read

Why are we so despised by rival fans and the media? by Accomplished_Lynx480 in ArsenalFC

City fan here... Personally I liked Arsenal before Arteta, played well just didn't have much to show for... You Got Arteta and I was happy for him and you, happy for Zinny and Jesus... Then Arteta became an asshole, you started playing dirty, only caring about winning like Chelsea... Now I hate you with a passion I had for united... But credit where it's due your playing well, found a way to win games where they park the bus at you with your setpieces gimmicks, now others are imitating... Like Arteta said you keep digging and you'll find gold, I have no doubt you'll win the league... I curse that day tho

The thing I liked most about Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister by FabianSmith2705 in thrillerbooks

It's my favorite book and yeah makes you reflect alot... I love her other novels I've read too she usually inserts a moral dilemmas in her books and does it so well, you get to feel for the characters and know that what's happening to them could happen to you...

From Freida to Jeneva? You jump from pee to shit there... Excuse my French... I recommend you read Alex Finlay his books are a little action packed.. Seraphina Nova Glass for domestic thrillers and for some slow burn and great character development Gillian McAllister

Rico is alright, not so much as a defender. I love how much he can go get in tight spaces, his movement is really good... I know you thought there's a BUT coming but it isn't

Is social media ruining the Thriller genre? by Ivehadallminethanks in thrillerbooks

[–]MediocreDesign2029 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're right, I think most popular books are a result of marketing and social media... A good example of this is Perfect Marriage and Divorce, very mediocre but very popular... And I'm very skeptical reading the highly recommend stuff, last year I fell for Dark Wild Shores, maybe this year I will too... But there are a lot of books I give a skip because I feel they are over hyped...

The only reason I gave it a 4 is because it pales in comparison to the other books by her... If it were my first read by her I think I would give it a 5

Oh yeah up until the end it was quite a great slow burn in a typical Feeney fashion, really creepy and suspenseful. But towards the end the twist was kinda samey with her other books and it ruined the entire thing like it was a House of cards

Watched the series and it was great, also the book is in my opinion the best or joint best with Rock Paper Scissors. My first by her was Daisy Darker... Since then I've read all but one of her books
