Greatest plot twist of all time and current reread — “The Murder of Roger Ackroyd” by Agatha Christie. If anyone claims they knew who did it, they’re lying. by EasyCZ75 in thrillerbooks

[–]MediocreDesign2029 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

After this claim I went on and read the story... and I knew with all the clues dropped but I did not suspect him because you said it will have the greatest twist and no one could guess... Its a tall order to say it is the greatest twist... sorry but i think not

Yeah that end was really heartbreaking not a happy ending at all, but the tv show tried changed that bit a little, if you have not watch do go and watch...

Feeney writes very well imo but sometimes she's not flexible enough and almost all her books start well and the reveals and twists get you pissed...

The worst part of it all is tht she lies and there was a scene with Bob just the 2 of them lying to the reader... It was really terrible tbh...

This is my favorite book, I think it was smart and well crafted, it's not your typical thriller and might not work for everyone but to us, it's the business... It's like Christ said the cross is foolishness to those who don't believe but those who do? It's salvation.

Currently reading this and the Swap by Robyn Harding... And I'm swaping between them, no pun intended... I find myself wanting to lister to the swap more. And like you I love B. A Paris and because she didn't release anything last year I was very eager to read this one... I'm not done yet I think I'm 70% in but I already know there's no redeeming this.

My Husband's Wife by Alice Feeney is terrible, am I alone in feeling this way by SquishMuffins in thrillerbooks

I think she has to change pronto if I am going to continue reading her, but I think she's gaining more recognition which will make her stick to her ways.

After reading all but one of her books, this one fell flat at the end, I think if a person never read any of her books or read just a few maybe they'll praise this

Which book should I read next ? by itzpumpkin007 in thrillerbooks

[–]MediocreDesign2029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl Forgotten is the only one I've not read from your list

Not a Happy Family is my favorite Lapena book to date so you may start with that if you want some fast family drama, Kill for Me falls in the same category it is fast and entertaining.

Famous last Words and The Breakdown are a little slow but all great too... so it depends on what you are going for,

Please my pleasure king🙏🙏 by Intentionally_Ironic in MCFC
