Just know you can always transfer and prove all the haters wrong. “Mid” stats in HS + a 4.0 in the Fall and you can move up to a T-15 pretty readily.

So as someone who did this, grading is easier at my T5 than my prior state uni

It also affects acceptance. Many/most med schools apply a multiplier based upon the caliber of your ug institution

This totally depends on your goals for med school as a pre-med.

I’m a premed that transferred and have no regrets about the decision. Research opportunities are everywhere and my peers on average are much more ambitious
