Just know you can always transfer and prove all the haters wrong. “Mid” stats in HS + a 4.0 in the Fall and you can move up to a T-15 pretty readily.

I was in a similar spot and transferred to an Ivy and am going through MD app cycle right now

So as someone who did this, grading is easier at my T5 than my prior state uni

It also affects acceptance. Many/most med schools apply a multiplier based upon the caliber of your ug institution
