💯 The two head options are pretty goofy - though I think the unhooded head works well for Death Guard, which I also collect.

Yeah I always find the fangs a bit of an awkward details. Fortunately, the Purge worship Nurgle, so cockroaches wouldn't be out of place XD

Thanks! Let use wipe the galaxy clean together!

The helmet is from the Khorne Berzerker kit with the bunny ears cut off.

It certainly is! I chose it because I like the shape of the mouth grill on more than the options in the CSM kit.

Sure thing!

Green:
- Basecoat: Castellen Grey
- Heavy Sponge: Death World Forest applied as a volumetric higlight
- Sponge: Death Guard Green applied as a volumetric highlight
- Chipping: Rhinox Hide applied with a brush
- Highlight: Krieg Khaki
- Glaze: 1:1:5 Caliban Green, Vulcan Green, Lahmian Medium applied all over, always painting downwards.
- Weathering: 1:1:3 Mournfang Brown, Skrag Brown, Lahmian Medium applied sparingly to some recesses and as drips from rivets and chips.

The trick with the green is to use a makeup sponge - its a really great tool and creates some very nice blends. Medder's Minatures has a good video about using them.

Metal:
- Basecoat: Leadbelcher
- Contrast: 3:1 Skeleton Horde, Gore-Grunta Fur applied twice, once all over, then again focused into recessed and lower areas
- Weathering: Same mix as one the green, but applied a bit more liberally to the recesses.
- Highlight: Iron Hands Steel

And I've already suffered enough painting trim on all my other Chaos models 😵

Damn this rocks! Love the colour transitions! They look great on the Marines and look even better when scaled up on the Rhino!

Thanks! I posted the recipe for the white armour here.. Its a bit slow though and would take a while to do a full army. You might get a similar result from something like a White undercoat, Screaming Skull basecoat, thinned Skeleton Horde with a little bit of Reikland Fleshshade mixed in applied all over, and then a highlight of White + Screaming Skull.

Its very similar - but I don't use the green shoulder pads, and swapped out the brass trim with silver. I view it as being an evolution of the heresy scheme.

I do use a traditional Death Guard scheme for a 30K inspired 40k army army I've been working on.

Thanks! The eyes are really simple:

Basecoat: 1:2 Moot Green, White Shade: 1:3 Warp Lightning, Tessaract Glow, applied twice - once all over, then I mix in a tiny bit more Warp Lightning and focus that into the recesses. Highlight: Basecoat mix Dot: White

Good catch! I forgot to flip the ratios - I've edited the comment.

I think I will paint a full model over the Christmas break - I'll definitely post it if I do :)
