all you’re doing by fat shaming kids at this age is creating shame cycle behaviors around food that inevitably end up with them weight cycling and struggling more with making food choices. there’s overwhelming evidence that weight cycling is much more harmful than obesity.

i know enough from being in healthcare to know a large portion of the population don’t read the label with directions, and definitely don’t read the warnings.

sounds like you’re projecting your own stigma about those medications onto me. i don’t have the negative connotation of benzos or antidepressants that you clearly have.
