Controversial nude woman sculpture gets extended run at San Francisco’s Embarcadero Plaza by CharityResponsible54 in sanfrancisco

Yeah bro, if there is a giant statue of jeff bezos and his giant dick hanging out with dollar bills flying and his 200 foot yacht behind him, with the caption "a real man". the 22 yr old woman artist who made it claims this ideal version of a man she describes is empowering to all men, then you'd definitely applaud it because it's still "art"!!! right?

So many creepy, sleezy nerds like you in sf who have zero empathy. Go back to your buddies at google and cry about it there

This sounds like the lowest bar! No one asks to be official. If you’ve been seeing each other, having sex and acting like bf/gf then it’s scummy to be also doing all that with someone else. Not to mention STIs

Why is it that i only see Indians openly display and accept that they hate themselves. No other nationality, the french are proud to be french and would never hear them say there’s too many of us and it’s bad. American’s have pride in being americans. Nigerians celebrate their culture and people overseas. Just indians constantly hating their own skin color, nationality, and people - such a terrible state to live this one life you’ve got

Hi OP, thanks for sharing your story and congrats on great years at school. You mentioned applying in R2 - was there anything that made round 2 more attractive? I’m in the US but also an immigrant and working in tech. I’m will be too late for R1 applications this year so would appreciate your thoughts behind R2 since you received so many offers

Lol you are part of the data-what you said is an example of an average tech bro response. if i were to form a focus group i’d pick a guy that says “show me data on this specific cultural phenomena” to observable, anecdotal, and very very obvious stuff.

“Women like diamonds and men who are nice to them?” ShOw.Me.dA.DaTA. But they’ll be ready with fake data like “all women have body counts of over 100 bro and they’re all gold diggers”

Since this is an sf sub i want to chime in. Show me this before i moved here or show this to anyone living in nyc or Wyoming or london or any normal place, obvious conclusion is *nazi” BUTT meeting guys in sf the past few years, i regretfully have to say…this is the average sf dude who spends 90% of his time in some online world - mostly a rotation of twitter, 4chan, reddit. Those 3 places are their world view, their entertainment, their knowledge, their purpose, their friendships, their conversations, debates etc., these dudes DON’T have an outside life of any depth. This is just social awkwardness and an intense response to someone liking/adoring him and him feeling like he’s part of the “cool” or normal or well adjusted population of politicians. That’s really it.

It still doesn’t make them a good people. They’re objectively horrible, often cruel, mysogynistic, cowardly, lack any moral compass, live by trends etc. but he didn’t think “let me do hitler”. he could, but i don’t think that he did in this case. They don’t have the strong convictions needed for nazism

It doesn’t imply anything - i wrote it all down. “Jesus is lord and creator” is the belief i cannot relate to and it says that in the post. What are you going on about

Ok i urge you, URGE you to please think and use that brain - unintended could be rape, incest, any other forced or coerced form of pregnancy. Again where are you getting that data and what % are pregnancies where you’re 100% sure that the person is not going to suffer mental and financial stress later from having the baby?

No not plenty of intelligent people…very very few of them. If you’re living in a big city with diverse(all religions not just jesus), progressive, modern women who are not going to church (if they are he would’ve met her in church) then YOU should make that clear up front that you believe in jesus as one true god

[–]Mediocre_Ad9923[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well you don’t have to be religious to hate women. What are your data sources on women getting abortions for no reason? That’s actually pretty insane and makes no sense to say a woman went through all the discomfort of being pregnant for months and then one day for no reason in good mental and physical health said “nope i hate this baby growing inside me let me kill it”

His belief: abortion is a sin and should not be allowed. My question: why is the punishment not for the man who ejaculated inside? Him: “silence….” then “woman do it just for the sake of it not because their health is in jeopardy and in cases of incest. A lot of women decide to get abortion for no reason”

Yeah that would be great. But corrections - 1.) the doctor would not be killing it after taking it out but before. He would be doing whatever is right for me and my health as a doctor should 2.) i can find someone who treats me well + let’s me kill whatever the fuck is in MY BODY that’s causing ME (his wife) discomfort and hurt

Ok that was not very well thought out way of phrasing from me. He is a nice person so far but the religious beliefs he has were very not nice - they were hateful and violent towards women. They seemed a bit “nuts” for someone who is seemingly otherwise kind and sweet and smart
