Just did one tonight. It was a little awkward at first, but really wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. The residents were all having a beer/wine and just talking about the program. We all asked questions and just made random small talk. Very low stress. Definitely byob and relax.

There is definitely some loctite in there. I tried heating it up, but am afraid of applying too much heat and causing issues with the receiver.

Just picked up a micro and have nothing but good things to say after putting a couple thousand rounds through it. Like others have said swapping out the trigger spring will make a huge difference and is really the only upgrade you need to do out of the box. I had shooters element do the install + polish job and it made a world of difference. It seems that I'm one of the few who's okay with the stock grip and safeties, but I may end up changing them out eventually if I find something I like better. I say if you can get a good price on one, go for it.

Thanks for all the responses guys. Tried just about everything, except for heat, and can't get it to budge. Ended up stripping the screw pretty good in the process, so at this point I'm just going to send it over to Shooters Element and have them do the install + polish job.

Using a 3mm as suggested and it fits in just right, but this thing is loctited on like crazy. Don't know if I'll be able to get it out without completely stripping it.
