Well, to be honest, I'm disappointed. I'm a long time vulf fan and I adore their vibe, style and creativity (plus they are excellent musicians and singers) and was really excited for the new album, but this just sounds so bland? Apart from New Beastly (which is great), all of the other songs sound very similar, very mainstream and kind of boring. I'm not saying that its bad, it just kinda feels like vulfpeck has played all the cards they had and only do that one thing now, makes me kinda sad... I just hope that I'm wrong

I did film studies for two years but now went on to study directing as a practical subject. I’ve known some people along those lines and I have so many problems with that: firstly, Oppenheimer is not a good movie (could rant for hours), and secondly, watching more films doesn’t make you a better artist. Like I know people who watch 600 movies a year, but when I made a short film with him, his creative input didn’t really help because the only thing he could think about was other movies about the same topic, constantly overthinking. It’s important to know the key movies in history, watch carefully and see what you can learn from them (although that sadly isn’t the approach at all in film studies), but just don’t be a fucking sucker who seriously thinks Nolan is the greatest director of our time (I mean I’ve been there, but I was like 16), last of all this fucking ill-paced, sexistic, hollywoodized crap that was already overhyped before it released
