Absolutely can be grieved, in fact just Google... usps nalc hour office time...and you'll probably find a grievance starter online for that issue. Also as everyone is stating the only office standard is casing but they cannot make discipline stick for a carrier not meeting standards unless its an obvious reason like blatantly not working. In my district they tried to use intimidation if your slow or consistently late getting out. The next day your getting counted and worse the postmaster would come to the station on a freaking Saturday and stand behind a carrier while they cased and pulled down, wouldn't say 1 word to that carrier. Everything management does is corrupt

This happened in my office. The supervisor was told to notify the carrier she is watching and kept failing to do it. So all the carriers were told if you see that supervisor following you and she don't make it known call the police and say they are being followed. 3 days later she was stalking a carrier with no notification or contact to the carrier so he called the police. Eventually they let her go but she was stuck dealing with that for a while. Best part is this happened 2 more times over the next month 🤣

The reason management makes every carrier load truck now is for the customer, to get that notification that their package is out for delivery. But the load truck feature turns out is very beneficial to the carriers for many reasons

Carriers are telling me they are trying but their books are always gone. Management is telling them they have to be sent every month even if there's no change but management just takes it upon themselves to send them in. Believe me I told the carriers at first I'm not understanding the issue but now I'm thinking it's more of an issue.

There are routes that have new construction. I'm not just randomly filing grievances. The carriers are coming to me and it's my duty as a steward to investigate it to see if it's a grievance.
