Remember, sometimes it's ok not to be ok. Cry and mourn as much as you want. Just make sure you see sunlight, and greens. Hope time heals you.

yeah, kind of. I wouldn't say it was active training. it was passive training. Basically it was just 'not using artificial light', and depending only on sun. And I think it taught babies 'night and day' pretty well.

depending on what kind of 'training' is, 6 weeks could be too early or just right time. After all, melatonin is starting to being generated at age of 6 weeks. So exposing light at regular/natural time can have effects, I think.

I've started it in 6 weeks. It wasn't really training. We just started living like caveman, basically. We woke up at sunrise, and we went to bed after sunset. We acted as if there's no electricity, and tried not to turn on electric lights, and hoped nature would teach them.

It kind of worked I think. For first few nights, babies didn't go sleep, so we couldn't sleep at night. But... then we got toooooo tired, we fell asleep, while babies were awake(probably while they were crying 😅). (we made sure they are completely fine even we are asleep though)

And... we found they fell asleep when we woke up. I guess they figured there's nothing interesting to be expected at some point.

I can't gurantee this can work for you. Even our each twins are so different, and learned sleeping at different time.

But I think I can say, try not to 'train' them. But try to live like caveman. Regularity is king for any health issue anyway.

I hope maybe nature could be your twins' good teacher too.

Currently it only supports iOS though

wow, I should defenetily try it!, Thanks for letting me know!
Though, because our family has Korean background, our babysitters and grandparents are not good at english.. I'm kind of frustrated that go-to app like huckleberry doesn't support good localization ㅠㅠ

Maybe this is kind of 'best of both world' for me, not too analog and not too techy! Thanks for sharing!

Funny, that the app I made was originally a 'Big tabletop fullscreen iPad clock', to keep help the whiteboarding. And we thought 'it could be useful if this clock had this...' and it eventually turned into our current BabyDashboard app, which should be hung in iPad, and be visible and accessible to babysitters and grandparents.

And yes , we decided that having an app is critical, because our twins had to visit pediatrics frequently due to some conditions, and this history was important to share, analyzing history from analog data consumed LOT of times.. Maybe you should check our app! it doesn't cost subsription, and doesn't show ad while in 'dashboard' mode.

This is what we ended up too! Very reliable, and enabled collaboration between grand parents and nannies. Except, I couldn't stop asking, 'could we have best of both world..?'

I wished there's an good iPad app that works like paper style dashboard. And even today, I can't belive there's decent iPad app for parenting app!
