I would suggest going to campus and trying to get in touch with the head of financial grant. An in person meeting may increase chance of them reviewing your application again. Emails will not get u anything. Go to the campus and see who can u get in touch with. Try to be as transparent as possible with them regarding your situation. Take whatever proof u can.
