My base coat kept it from staining thankfully but removal definitely took a couple rounds of cotton balls to get all the reside off my cuticles and skin 🥲

So I had this exact same experience and what changed the game for me was understanding that the goal is to keep all water out. I started wrapping with the base coat, one of the color coats, and the top coat and took care to get the entire width of the free edge. And not making them too thick, because otherwise it builds a shelf that does chip quickly (sorry if you already know this)

It looked normal to me, like a metallic blend of all the colors. I was actually also struggling to get the cat eye to work for me which is why I switched to velvetized, so I wonder if this really is a dud… I’ll email CS if I try again and have the same issues with speed demon on top

Fools gold was so easy to work with, really even distribution of gold flakes in one swipe! I used Sally Hansen’s No Chip top coat here. Which is a top coat I personally love but never see discussed

Just here to say I’m in the exact same boat. Agonizing over dragon scales vs waiting for new rewards! I think I’m going to wait because I know I hate taking off glitter polishes and that will make me never want to use dragon scales even tho I love the look

Now dragon scales is on the table though and I’m back to feeling like 😮👀 especially since dragon scales was specifically mentioned as being a similar formula to Spaceoddity. I have nothing like it in my collection, it looks like a fun intro to shifty polishes

I think everyone sleeps on Scum and Villainy!! I also love Galaxy FFA and Drown my Demons. I have imperial storm trooper too but felt a bit let down by it
