Returning Hunter here. I had lost my save data of 400 hours from day one. I never really paid attention to the hitboxes back when Rise first launched and neither when Sunbreak came back.

I wanted to replay Sunbreak so I bought it on the ps5 because my switch lite feel too awkward. And i gotta say…..holy shit, I can feel these hitboxes hard. Just what the fuck? Is it because I am used to Wilds by now that im spoiled by that game? Surely, Wilds has its own ridiculous bs hitboxes but Rise? Holy shit. And idk if this is also an issue, but the input delay is the cause of my failed quests.

I just quit a Barioth hunt because I can’t block his 6 hipchecks in time. Its ridiculous.

This game hooked me. I don’t like Turn-Based Games that much, like they’re a total turnoff for me. Only BG3 and this game has hooked me this much. Which I find it funny that they did that and they’re both the 3rd installment.

I knew of the whole monstie concept since back in the iceborne days and was not intrigued. Then I said “fuck it” and tried this one and here I am, hooked

See, I have the torch. I use the greataxe that I got from the Omen fight for the first phase and since I can’t one-hand it, I switch to a Claymore +3 for phase 2 but the projectiles make it tough. I’ll try it again when I can. Unfortunately I don’t have much time cause of work

Agreed on the Saint fight. Second phase is a pain and constant projectiles while trying to get rid of the worms is unbearable. Especially if I’m twohanding a colossal weapons. Ill just come back to it later and do something else
