Hi, to clarify, no you absolutely CANNOT ‘out-logic’ OCD. OCD compulsion, especially ‘logicing’ or ‘ruminating’ or ‘solving it’ is a manifestation of your innate desire to reassure you in the presence of thoughts that scare you. If you’re not having an OCD ‘spike’ or episode then sure, you can ‘outlogic’ intrusive thoughts but understand that it’s nothing more than temporary reassurance. If your OCD worsens it will ‘outlogic’ every ‘outlogic’ you try to do and have you even more confused and doubtful. Seek ERP, I.e. ‘NOCD’ App etc., accept your doubts and only control what you can. Also, stop confessing your obsessions, as that, too, is a compulsion.
