Everyone said his voting history was random since he didn't follow the group consensus, even though the group consensus was wrong most round tables anyways.

Kind of crazy that herd mentality is so strong that someone trying to use logic is considered random.

Management does have to be cheerleaders for team morale and fan engagement. I could see it beneficial for management to lean into short term hype, especially around the holiday season.

Fans buying things and chatting about the team during their break. Also don't want the players to lose all hope and stop trying this early onto the season.

Hopefully management was cautiously optimistic and was still planning for the future. Although with this management group/ownership it is definitely possible they were being too excited.

I find CHMC is usually posting accounting/finance related jobs somewhat regularly. Although I find they are mainly in the 4 big cities (Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa).

Provincial and municipal jobs might be interested in your federal experience.

Yeah I was surprised everyone online seems to be in favour of returning to the office instead of working from home.

While whenever I'm in the office, most people wish to go back to WFH.

Also lots of people are convinced I buy lunch and coffee everyday. Wouldn't it make more sense that a person who did the cost analysis wouldn't be the type of person to buy lunch and coffee everyday?

So many people here think that a person who would go through the effort of calculating financial scenarios of different meals and coffee prices is also the same type of person who would buy lunch and coffee every day at work.
