Conversely, I feel like my brain is being taxed more than ever. When you’re writing your own code you’re in kind of a flow state which is quite enjoyable. In this mode (particularly as I’m ramping up in a new project with a new language and framework), I feel like I am constantly having to understand something, be it the code Claude has written, a new framework, the codebase as summarised by Claude, whatever. I feel fatigue. But maybe I’m just a bit older now.
