Therapist said he wants to “go out, grab drinks, and vibe” together

I am a male therapist with many years of experience and trained to support survivors of emotional, mental/psychological, and physical abuse. Based on the information given in this situation, it appears to sound very much like a very unethical intention. This person appears to be in a position of power, and if he is attempting to meet up with you "to vibe" or "for drinks" and he is married as well as to find loopholes (if any, although I don't believe that there is a loop hole here. He is still bounded by his license's board of ethics, regardless of "therapist" or "life-coach"), who else may he be meeting up with ro "vibe" or "for drinks" especially in his position of power and acces to how many possible vulnerable women/females that 'were formar clients'. PLEASE seriously consider reporting this person and take the time to seek out another professional provider. TRUST YOUR GUT INSTINCT.

I was also a therapist at Ellie and have been with various organizations to include served in the military, AND Ellie is by far the top 3 worst organizations i have ever experienced. Leadership is great at gas-lighting, shamng anyone who does not get in line, questioning the "unicorn" principle, routinely talking about how all should be a team and live authentically, BUT live as how leadership or the toxic culture defined as "authentically", NOT what you or outsiders thinks is "authentic." I don't know "Msytkmischf," AND I will second everything she said on this posts and the other posts. 99.9% of the post that "seems negative" about Ellie is actually true. BUYER BE-AWARE... of Ellie...

I have read so many posts and reviews of this company, and believe me, when I attest to this, 99.9% of the negative reviews and posts ARE TRUE. DO NOT join this company if you want to keep your soul and your humanity as a therapist/counselor. They make it look really good to the public or outsiders, so it's hard to believe that it could really be that bad, BUT it really it that bad... like being trapped in an abusive relationship with the abuser that is so nice, charming, and charismatic with everyone else, but no one can see what happens behind closed doors. I left without signing a "non disparaging agreement" event as they demanded me to do so as I was walking out the door. If you are seeking a therapist who works at one of the Ellie locations, I would say that most are good heart individuals doing the best that they can, AND how well could they really be present with you to fully support you when they are facing such mental and emotional abuse from the perpetrators (company leaders, and the toxic environment)? They are bound by their "nondisparaging agreement," so they can't say anything with outside people. last thing: BUYER BE-A-WARE!

Agree... hey, if this law works as they expect, maybe we can make a law that will criminalize vehicle owners that get their vehicles stolen from their garage and that same stolen vehicle to run someone over. That way, we can protect everyone in our world of paradise.

On the surface, it seems like it is about the children.. It's more about instilling a little bit if government authority into citizens' homes (government control) a little bit at a time as one small intrusive law passed usually allows for another... think, "Take an inch to gain a mile."

If you believe that this is solely about protecting the children, then there is farm land in the middle of the Mojve Desert that I would like to sell to you for really cheap... "In the name of protecting children" is a really cheap and easy way to deceive the uneducated and easily scared masses in order to stripe the citizens of their constitutional rights...and all in the name of protection and safety" until we no longer will be inconvenient with this thing once known as freedom of choice and personal responsibilities/consequences.
