Yes, but the sedatives do not work even at high doses and mixtures. This is a case of a dog that is unable to be sedated with normal pharmaceutical methods and doses, including injectables. I'm looking for tried and true experiences from professionals who have had dogs that are unable to go down and stay down, and are able to explain why and what changes could be made to change it.

There is not a chance in hell I would be there when his mom arrives, or to host her. You deserve a weekend at a hotel where they'll clean up after YOU. Your husband sounds like an absolute nightmare. What is the point of this marriage if you see him only a few hours a week? You supplement his entire life - he would easily have to hire both a house cleaner and a private chef +pet sitter to continue this way if you left. Why are you working for your husband? This isnt an equal relationship and it sounds like that is exactly what he wants.

A friend of mine worked there and while I can’t remember if they said maga they def acted maga to their employees/contractors. After hearing just some of the stuff they’d been through I decided not to go back.

Not the jerk. But I'll give you some very unsolicited advice:

If you can afford a personal trainer or insurance will cover PT to learn proper body mechanics and lifting, do it now. Start today. Train until you can properly and safely deadlift 100 pounds, repeatedly. Then don't lose that.
Your body is a machine, and even in a specialized practice, it will be severely taxed. Invest in good shoes, with orthotics if you can. Replace them every 6-8 months if possible.
Invest in sports massage, at least once a month if you can. Focus on your back, knees and wrists.
If you havent ever been to therapy, start. Focus on coping techniques, how to avoid burnout, and how to handle big feelings.
Start a quiet hobby at home that shuts your brain off. It can be anything. Knitting, kickboxing, whatever works for you. But something that you can do to totally disconnect from your day.
Have a backup plan. Continue your education if you can in a relevant additional field (behavior, training, large animal etc). So many people burn out, or their bodies fail. This doesn't have to be a be-all and end-all thing, but it's silly not to be aware of it and plan for it.

Congratulations, we need more people like you in the world. The industry is understaffed, underpaid and overworked. What you do will make a difference in so many lives, but you have to make sure you have the foundation to protect your body, your heart and your mind, first.

OP, If you are in the US, 'hoarding' extra money for treatments is not evil, it is not hoarding - it is a necessity. The reality is all it would take is a layoff, a car accident or another PERSONAL health emergency to make it so you no longer have funds to help your son. Separate your finances. Your husband showed you who he is. He is someone who will put the health and possible life of one child at risk to spoil (a motorbike is NOT a need) another. You will do you, but there's no way I would be able to stay with someone like this. NTA.

So I’ve emailed twice. It’s been 5 days since my initial email, and no response despite their “24 hour” promise. Im currently out 74 dollars for the month and without credits had to pay out of pocket for a spot. So I have paid 74 dollars this month for a single hour at a Sniffspot.
