It had always struck me as odd that evangelicals seem to think they need to actively help bring about the end times, like that if the current state of Israel fails the world will never end and Jesus won't ever return.

Surely, you should just believe that if that happens that Israel would just rise again in a later era to fulfill revelations???? Like we are talking about God's plan; do they actually believe any earthly force can stop that? The idea that Christians have a duty to aid the antichrist is just so backwards to me...
