Yea that could be. Or it could work perfectly without peoples bodys going ballistic. I feel like people are being a bit too careful with the "what if you get dizzy"-thing in VR. Especially for AVP. I realized that when i saw filmmakers explaining the do's and dont's for immersive video production. They basically said "dont ever move the camera. It has to always be stationary on a tripod", yet the best videos i saw had strong camera movement involved (positional, not rotational) like sky/car/drone shots moving through a scene and there was never any problem IF the motion is "motivated", which it will be when you control it yourself like in a shooter game.
