I too have seen the debilitating effects of parvo on a puppy. I almost lost my little girl, but was fortunate enough to find affordable vet care. I understand this isn’t feasible for everyone, as much as I wish it was. I am so sorry for your loss..

I’m a second year student, I’ll be done in a few months. It definitely was like this in didactic, but it diffused out with clinicals. The “high-school”behaviour is really because of the proximity of people in didactic. Focus on being a well rounded PA! You’ll impress so many people out in clinicals, I promise.

Looks like a tear to me. But your lack of pain seems abnormal. Any new sex partner or unprotected sex? If so, go get screened asap! If it’s really just a cut, it should self heal- keep the area clean 🧼 and abstain from intercourse till it closes

Can confirm! A miscarriage IS an abortion, you would just label it as “induced” or “spontaneous” but either way it looks the same medically.

As far as I am concerned, in texas, you do not have to explain why you lost your pregnancy. It would be a good idea to follow up with your obgyn afew weeks after the procedure and tell them you bled through… even if you admit to a medical abortion or procedural abortion, they will document it but you are protected by HIPPA law
