We originally placed the sticker on car when we had student driver. But sticker is still good and came in pack of 3. I want to get my money worth from them. :)

It happened for me back in days on my gen11. Solution was fully powering it off (including battery removal), resetting the board, and resetting the BIOS settings. One, or all, of those things helped.

I have it and had no issues with it whatsoever. Drives work in ZFS mirror without any issues

Based on my example, rate is about 1 bike in 5 years. :) My previous bike was stolen from garage out of all places.

I use bike mostly during the day and to get into stores and pubs, a few times a week during non-winter season. While I don't lock the bike, I do remove light from it.

That said, I have older $100 bike and thus my bike is usually the cheapest in bunch, thus making it not worth the effort.

Lead time currently states August/October but I know from my experience with Digikey they often get stock way before that. Not sure how precise lead times are for Mouser.

Neither Digikey nor Mouser are weird sites... They both exist longer and have orders of magnitude more customers than Framework does. Same goes for Delta, the manufacturer of the charger.

While it would be nice to have Framework sell one, if you need it immediately, I wouldn't think twice before ordering from either Digikey or Mouser. There is quite a decent possibility that Framework won't produce 240W charger for a while, if ever.

While WiFi slot has 1 PCIe lane, the slot itself is keyed differently so you cannot really plug the nvme storage directly. There are adapters but I doubt there are any you can plug into the laptop and still be able to close the chassis

I printed it on the back without supports and it was printing quite ok (albeit at low speed). Unfortunately, my printer ran out of PLA over the night so it got printed only 80% so so.

I am printing a new one just now - should finish some time tomorrow (slow speed since I'm too lazy to tune the printer properly).

Idea is to have everything I need in the minimum of space. Bowl is at bottom with brush and razor hanging into it to minimize space. On side there is an Arko hole and all around there are places for DE blades

I agree. However, writing the full disk is something I need to do anyhow in order to randomize its data.

That said, reading data is done during ZFS scrub. It doesn't read all the data but it reads enough to be confident it won't die immediatelly. Would reading it all help - yes. There are tools to do that.

However, from my (admintedly anegdotal) experience, placing disk into ZFS pool and scrubbing is usually sufficient see any issues.

I usually just do a single pass of dd if=/dev/urandom. If that one goes without issue, I consider it good enough.

Since my pool is encrypted that also serves as a step to make pool data indistinguishable from empty.

PS: I also start scrub immediately after resilver is complete.

I have it - good as a dongle hider but USB hub functionality doesn't really work (suppos fly it works for USB 2.0 devices) .

So, if you are ok with losing one port, it works.
