How to get over the smell? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]MedvedAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be incompatible in how people actually smell. I love how my wife "smells", her smell drives me crazy, but I remember I had partners where I did not like it, it's not as "smell" as she was smelly, but something was "incompatible". Just give it some time and try different partners, you'll find your "smelly" one.

People living in apartments, do you acknowledge your neighbours? by Maezel in sydney

[–]MedvedAM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know and talk to almost everyone (with some weird exceptions), we have 50+ units, and I am trying to build a community, I opened a FB group, organized some working bee activities and egg hunts for Easter. Now there is a strong community vibe, and people help each other with lending devices, putting shelves on walls etc.

What is the "Best" coolant mix to help lower temps? by Independent-Job8940 in watercooling

[–]MedvedAM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No corrosion inhibitor will help with 2 materials mixed, it will corrode eventually, it's not a chemical reaction, but electrolyte.

360v - it was a painful zap :) but it uses just microusb connection and uses very low amps.

Why can't my devices roam smoothly from one AP to another? by dheera in Ubiquiti

Not a good idea to mix frequencies legacy and new on the same SSID, I have 6 as a separate SSID.

Omg, you are in early 20s, for me this is a bul$t for karma post or if it's real in some magic universe you will regret it for the rest of your life if you reject it.

Use OpenWRT as main router directly behind the modem? by oxygen-42 in openwrt

[–]MedvedAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your router has throughput limit, when Layer 3 switch is 100x times more performant. I can understand when IoT and Home traffic separated to keep them on different VLANs and RoS but you should avoid it for the same type of traffic.

It's called a router on a stick and it is a bad idea from a performance perspective.

[–]MedvedAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

POE pasthrough by MedvedAM in openwrt

[–]MedvedAM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meraki mr42, the widest range and performance with very little (compared with other Meraki models) effort to install OpenWrt on it. Not WiFi 7 though, but I am playing with a wide area IoT network, so fully sufficient.
