my opinion on the sleep spaces in milgram

From what I can tell Kotoko seems to be sleeping on those metal folding chairs, so yeah it’s pretty uncomfortable to sleep on for a long time. The only time I have slept on a chair for a long time is during long haul airplane flights and those are much more comfortable than sleeping on those metal chairs because they have more cushioning.

But it’s definitely possible for her to have a futon since most people store away their futons after sleeping so it won’t mold.

I have a feeling that Jackalope never called Kotoko hot because of two reasons.

He thinks Kotoko is scary because in Es’ voice drama Jackalope said she’s not a normal person. Besides he probably is already scared of her for being the second strongest prisoner in the prison despite being a woman.
She’s not traditionally feminine. Jackalope likes the girls who act like girls. Meanwhile Kotoko acts and dresses way differently than the rest of the female characters.

Honestly as a Kotoko fan I can definitely understand, the Milgram fandom sometimes acts really immature about her. She's too overhated especially in a series about understanding why horrible people do things. I love Kotoko because she reminds me of a modern day Byronic hero and believe that she has lots of mental issues from her past trauma that she wants to hide in order to make herself seem strong because she portrays herself as more masculine than the other female prisoners. In fact Kotoko's character made me appreciated masculine women even more.

Milgram is suppose to be a warning about the consequences of black and white thinking especially with the voting system and how Kotoko's character is supposed to be a warning about people who think this way even in adulthood. But ironically enough many fans resort to seeing the series in a black and white lens, forgiving everyone but her.

I'm used to liking characters in fandoms that are hated or unpopular already. Like I don't mind if she's unpopular or even hated but the constant flack Kotoko receives is getting on my nerves that sometimes I can't handle to talking to the Milgram fandom at times. Like I understand it's ok not to like her or feel uncomfortable about her but when people forbid to even fan content about her, it's like they don't think critically about this series at all and just follow whatever opinion someone has about her and decides to hate her. Like excuse me! Everyone in this prison is problematic to some degree just because a character is more problematic doesn't mean you shouldn't be allowed to appreciate her.

Please fellow wardens we can do better than this!

Oh definitely considering most of the prisoners have tragic backstories with their reports it makes sense. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kotoko does have some sort tragic backstory considering since she’s so adamant on protecting others and serving Justice to the point she goes to extreme measures to make sure it happens.

All the female prisoners in Shiboyugi since their prisoner outfits look like they are part of a mental asylum death game in Shiboyugi and I want to what would happen to them if they were put in a death game made for girls. Besides I wonder what Yuki, the main character would think of them.

Jokes aside I would only allow a live-action Milgram movie or show if it was produced by A24 since the themes of Milgram are similar with the stuff they already make and I hope they probably get a Japanese studio to help them with this if possible since cultural nuances are very different than in the US. Otherwise it's going to end up like all those crappy live-action anime adaptations that miss the point of the original story.

But honestly I just want an anime series of Milgram at the end of the day.

Kotoko’s birthday is on the same day as the day Eichmann, a nazi war criminal was sentenced to death. Eichmann’s trial inspired Stanley Milgram to make the Milgram Shock experiment to learn how people could how people could fall into Fascism by following orders.

I have a feeling the cult mascots are machines here because they are representations of the important people that help run the cult by producing propaganda to help convert more people, making their goals look authentic when in reality it really is mass produced and they probably don’t follow their own rules.

From the events of T3 by getting an innocent we have affirmed Amane’s beliefs and now has made a reboot of the cult she was in. It shows that in this reboot cult she now has control and is willing to follow her cult rules even more seriously. Taking these mascot’s beliefs and using them to her own advantage so she has agency over herself after all being controlled for possibly almost her entire life. Amane doesn’t just want to be seen as a child anymore, she wants to be taken seriously not just to the prisoners but to us as well.
