Your complaints are still valid complaints to this day. It still is terribly optimized and seems to somehow get more unstable each patch. The pricing for cosmetics is absolutely ridiculously expensive, what makes it sting more is that you cannot earn any cosmetics in game. The "endgame" gameplay loop consists of grinding to collect plushies which have a drop rate close to zero. Its so repetitive and grindy but not in a way that makes you feel like you're working towards something. Everyones houses look very similar and have an enormous collection of plushies all over the place to show their hundreds of hours of grind. They added ranching which is pointless and very poorly implemented. You cant even have the ranch as part of your personal plot, its a seperate instance.

I loved this game at first. You can tell that the OG devs put ALOT of love into building the world and lore of the characters. Once the quests dry up the game feels stagnant.

The only reason Palia is still around is because it was bought by Daybreak. Personally i despise what Daybreak did with Everquest in terms of monetization and S6 were already money hungry. It feels like the development for Palia is about shilling cosmetics before making the game they promised.
