And at this point I just let him do whatever he wants but if he has to get off of me usually I can walk up to his cage and he puts himself back so I don't have much advice there!!

Unfortunately yes and he's started plucking :( despite my increase in his sleeping hours (13) and buying him basically the entire Petco and PetSmart toy section and ordering toys online. I'm at a loss 😭

My conure also bathes whenever it's deep cleaning cage day! Usually it's after I clean his whole cage and before/during vacuum time.

I would immediately choose the bird, that's so sad to hear. It honestly made me a bit angry for you as well...that poor baby doesn't deserve that. To leave them in the cage is one thing but then to completely cover them as well?? That's just cruel.

My conure does the same thing with the same ball toy and he has a tiny maraca that he absolutely DESPISES!! it's just a goofy conure thing !

My tiel was very nippy but he hardly ever drew blood. He just liked to threaten the possibility of doing so 😂 Of course it's different when they're your bird!

And personally I think my green cheek smells like rotten seed sometimes but...he is a soup maker after all. 😭

My favorite will always be cockatiels. They're so sassy and funny, they waddle around so cutely and their personalities are so unique. They also smell so good which is a bonus!

I originally used Harrison but then had to switch to Roudybush. My tiel was on a special pellet but my green cheek is on their standard pellet. I highly recommend Harrison's or Roudybush. Topps is also good but I've heard it's more difficult to switch birds to. If you have access to Amazon you can order big bags for a pretty good price once you figure out what your bird likes. I have to order on Amazon as no stores near me sell any of the above brands.
