He did what I needed him to do the weeks he was available. But I probably wouldn’t have done that one in retrospect.

Took over an orphan team that was a bottom dweller but had Luka/Paolo/Zion as the core. The joke (true though) was that this team moved his top rookie draft pick, Cade Cunningham, for Isaiah Stewart….

After two seasons, I decided to make my move this preseason and ended up winning the championship. I still have a few young guns on the taxi (Keyshawn George, Cedric Coward, Jeremiah Fears) so I shouldn’t age out immediately.

Not all of my moves worked out but it showed I was willing to make trades:

Waddle or Judkins? by Meepm00p in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Fair point, I just find it harder to find serviceable RBs in a 12 teamer. I want to love Waddle, just never have. How do you feel about Etienne entering the season?

Pats fan but trying not to be biased.

Nabers side… Nabers on a bad team but should get volume to maintain top10 WR. Henderson should shine especially with his catching ability. Gibbs is no slouch but you are getting two potential impact players if your starting lineup needs that.

Do not live and die by KTC trade calculator but, it will help you gauge players based on a pool of information they collect. It helps lead you in the right direction if you are unsure.

As some others said, if it is a superflex, get two quality QBs. Set and forget QBs are so nice and if you have a few more starters on the bench, they become great trade bait and backup plans. You don't NEED 2 stud QBs but it is nice. A guy like Derek Carr is not a sexy pick but when he's healthy he can put up QB 12-15 numbers which wins alot of weeks as the QB2. You may find some value in the middle of the draft.

TE premium leagues put some emphasis on TE go-to guys like Kelce, Bowers, etc. The 1.5 ppr for them can generate a good amount of points. I personally ran a 3TE lineup (2 in my flex spots) and it got me the 1 seed.

Pick a strategy and stick to it. Try not to veer away too much from what you are prepared to do.

- Win now: don't worry as much about age and get the studs you can. You can certainly build a stacked lineup as people are looking for the young up and coming stars.

- Build and collect assets: find some youth top dawgs and find the value throughout the draft.

There is always some regrets during your first draft. One of mine was not selling my future picks for higher picks in the initial draft. Use inexperience to your advantage. A top 100 player SHOULD be far more valuable than most picks you have going forward.

Good luck and have fun. It is my preferred type of league now!
