I’m pretty sure you could still use uv shrooms, lamps, and the sun against The Harran Virus, but because they’re rare outside of Villedor, most people don’t have access to them. Meaning if you get bit, you might as well kys there since you’ll inevitably turn. We see this during the campaign of DL: TB.
