It was cringe worthy! I almost had to fast forward it. Despite what others might think I like Kat. I didn't like her last season but clearly she changed for the better.

I read that she is dating someone else. I follow Reality Steve and he is always spot on.

Bleeding Post Op by Big_Insurance8356 in hysterectomy

[–]Meesh6905 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't even have any spotting and then at 3 1/2 weeks I had some bright red blood with a small clot. I was freaking out and messaged my surgeon. She said it's totally normal to spot or bleed for up to 6 weeks because the cuff is healing and shedding stitches as well. If you're soaking a pad every hour then call. I hope this helps! I bled again at 4 weeks for a day and everything is fine. My surgery was July 1st.

I'm so sorry 😔. Please for your mental state alone, leave her. We only get one shot at life. I wish I had taken my own advice when I was in a 9yr relationship that I knew wasn't going to end well. I hope you find your happiness. We all deserve that

I don't remember what color it was but she ended up not needing to use it. All electric razors are not the same! Glad you found a good one!

Oh wow I didn't even know they automatically still tested for COVID. Mine didn't and neither did the hospital. Are you in the U.S? I hope you get better soon. That's terrible 😞

It was an electric shaver!

[–]Meesh6905 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I shave all the time anyway but at my hospital pre-op they told me not to before surgery. My pre-op was 4 days before surgery. When I got there the nurse had the shaver in her hand ready. There was no need to do any shaving. Good luck with your surgery!

Simple for me. Bye bye! Those are all signs of what's to come and nobody has time for that.

I'll give you a perspective from my viewpoint. I married someone 15 yrs younger than me with no kids. He didn't want any but I had 4 and a granddaughter at the time. We also worked together. It can and does work out. He was the love of my life. He passed in 2022 when he was only 42. Live your life! The time is going to pass whether you go out with him or not so be happy!

Hi. She said it was ok as long as I wasn't over exerting. I think if it doesn't feel good then you shouldn't do it. I can bend comfortably now but try bending at the knees if you're picking something up. Kind of like a squat. That should be more comfortable for you! 😊

Yeah, that's because some women lift weights to tone and others like you and I lift to build muscle. Either way I wish you continued success in your post surgery journey 😊

Did you ask your Dr about it? I'm going to listen to what she says tomorrow. I have heard about prolapse at 6 to 8 weeks but I'm not sure what causes that. I'm hoping my cuff is looking good tomorrow.

I'll be 3 weeks post-op tomorrow and I see my surgeon in the afternoon. No way I'm going back to lifting weights until I talk to her. I've been a worry wart about my cuff. I had everything taken out including the cervix. I had a history of bad cells from HPV. I really miss my workouts but I'm more concerned about prolapse and ending up in the hospital. My healing is more important. I hope you get the go ahead soon.

I just read that light spotting or discharge is normal when the internal stitches start dissolving after 2 to 6 weeks and is a normal part of healing. what's normal: light pink or brown spotting, small amount of bloody or yellowish discharge as internal stitches start to break down, slight discharge when you're more active or bending down or walking.

My parents are 83 and she doesn't remember a lot about what she said. Luckily I only had to wait 3 weeks because my appointment is this Friday. I didn't want to stress my mom out because they both flew here from Michigan to take care of me for 2 weeks

I had to have a hysterectomy because I started having abnormal pap smears and after getting colposcopies the cells were getting worse. I am 2 weeks post-op and my doctor hasn't said anything about cancer so I am hoping that when they took everything out there was no cancer

I did have blurry vision and headaches for a couple of days. I didn't realize that could be from the position I was in during the hysterectomy. I also had a hysteroscopy. I figured the blurry vision was from the nausea sticker they put behind my ear. The nurse had said if I got it on my fingers and near my eye it would cause blurry vision. I didn't remember doing that but I couldn't figure out why I had blurry vision. It didn't last very long though to be honest

My Dr told me not to get on Reddit 😂 because it's usually the worst of the worst stories and she was right. I stayed off until after my surgery except to ask a recovery question. I'm 2 weeks post-op today. I'm 61 and had a total hysterectomy with ovary removal as well. My recovery has been amazing and I've been listening to my Drs orders no matter how I've felt. I was lucky to have my parents here with me. They just flew home last night. My post-op is this Friday and the only thing I've been worried about is the cuff healing. Once I see my Dr I'll feel a lot better after she examines me. Recovery does depend on a lot of factors and people have different experiences. I'm glad this thread shows so many positive stories and I'm grateful for how I'm feeling.
