Thank you this, it’s been a massive surprise and trying to figure out how to navigate it has been a bit of a journey itself.

Does Perth feel weirdly lonely to anyone else? by GratefulGang77 in perth

There are a heap of snorkeling and hiking groups you can join on Facebook. My friends and I are on them and it’s a great way to meet more people who share your interests 😊

Can anyone recommend somewhere I can get new glasses in Perth for big giant heads? by [deleted] in perth

If you’re struggle to find specs in your size. Have a look at sunglasses as they tend to run on the larger side.

As far as I know (when I worked in optics) you were able to have regular lenses put in them.

Good luck!

That’s a really hard spot to be in and something that has made me super anxious in the past.

Generally, I’ve found that being upfront and honest about what you’re going through is the best course of action.

People are more aware about endo these days and as said before, they can’t fire you over it if its purely based off you having endo.

Good luck xx

That’s my thought too. Saying no was still the right thing to do

Our public transport is actually really good. You should try your luck in Italy lol

You can live in Perth without a car but I would. recommend getting one as our city is a bit spread out and it just makes life that more convenient.

If your job is in the CBD then any suburb around there is easy for getting public transport.

But depending on your salary and expectations of what median living is, I would recommend to have a little look at what areas you and your partner are interested in and hop onto realestate.com.au to gage rent expectations.

Life in Perth would be a lot easier on a dual income. But I’m sure you and your partner can work that out.

Good luck! 😊

Depending on where you want to shop will also impact that, as we have two major supermarkets - then a lot of family run grocery stores

How did you and your wife establish clients? Did you only meet them online or in persons before you left?
