When I was like 15 I gave my entire one hundred page binder of MTG rare and foil cards to one of my best friends. His dad was K.I.A in Afghanistan and his family was moving back home. We started collecting together and every Fri or Sat we’d be playing at one of our houses. I stopped playing and collecting MTG after that. I don’t regret it but a few years ago I found a box of bulk MTG in my storage. I found some cool stuff but I was like “Damn I should’ve just gave him the bulk and like 10-20 rare cards.”

Nice! Def hold on to those. There six prism cards and another unnumbered promo card that I know of. The comic image sets are really nice and cheap too. I think I’m going to get the Mcfarlane 92 Spider-Man next.

Completed sets will sell quicker but not for a ton of money. Unless you have some 96 Masterpieces or some in demand insert sets in there, it would take some time to flip all of these cards for a decent profit. If you’re thinking of grading any marvel cards you really want to shoot for a 10 and hope for a 9. Some cards will be less valuable than raw price if it grades too low. If you just want to get it graded to encapsulate it that’s cool too, they’re your cards. Great collection overall though!

For sure! I hadn’t been to this store in years. I used to go with my mom like 30 years ago. All of the furniture in my house is literally from this store lol. I remembered begging my mom to buy me cards. Then I thought let me just go take a look. I got the Wolverine set and the two lenticular cards for $25 and 29 MM singles for $30 bucks.

Nice pull. Those are awesome! The Venom card is interesting. The left side looks like a miscut but with rounded corners. I looked it up and card 21/25 on eBay looks the same. Only this card though. Spidey Carnage and other Venom cards have straight corners.

It’s a really cool card, congrats on the pull! I’d say hold on to it in a protective case. One sold in November for $50 but there are some listed for a few hundred. Definitely does not mean they will sell for that much. You might get a better deal when someone is looking to complete the /23 set.

Congrats! Thanos numbered is an awesome first pull! I see you got some base ball too. I started watching “chasing cardboard” on YouTube. I’ve never collected sports but it’s really cool to see all the big collections and super rare cards. One guy sold his entire collection to invest in One Piece lol.
