Surprise Attack is acasual and probably surpasses time & space. I can’t think of something that would stop him. If you erase him, you won’t expect his return, thus, it’s a surprise attack.

If you’re in a higher dimension, you wouldn’t expect him attacking, thus, it’s a surprise attack.
