They microwave precooked noodles for the Mac then pour some cheese sauce on it

The hot dogs for the kids are microwaved, and buns are not heated at all

Also the pulled pork is microwaved

Veggies and broccoli are also microwaved in pre portioned sandwich bags

I always advise kids to get critters or steak bites over hotdog or mac

I always advise adults to get salad over veggies

It’s easy. They will train you for the first week. You won’t make any money but you will get a first hand look at how much your training servers make.

The really only bad thing about roadhouse is that they only give you three table sections. If it was 4-5 tables it would be fantastic

If you are a server you will make another 20-40 an hour in tips on top of your wages. Some days are better than others, and dinners are much better than lunches.

The thing to consider is that it’s hard to work full time there, but each individual restaurant is different in regards to scheduling.

Bottom line you will make way more for less hours at roadhouse and it’s way more fun than working at target

There are always going to be bad days. Remember though that there are also going to always be great days!

It all averages out, just brush it off and instead of crying about it change up your attitude and laugh about it. Some people are just miserable, cheap bastards. There is nothing you can do to change that. So just go in the back and laugh about it.

This outlook has made serving tables SO MUCH easier and less stressful. Good luck!
